Because many of our members are raising children with disabilities, complex medical needs, or mental health challenges, we do our best to select books that provide an enjoyable escape rather than revisit the difficult realities many of us navigate every day. Before choosing each title, our team reviews content for potentially triggering themes, including heavy medical storylines, graphic violence, and other sensitive topics. While no book is completely free of difficult subjects, we strive to create a reading experience that feels engaging, uplifting, and considerate of our community's unique experiences.
